Photography Workshop Series - Spud, Sway
Photography Workshop Series - Spud, Sway
A 6 week series of photography workshops designed to encourage and enhance how you see and capture the world with your camera.
We will explore a variety of themes and concepts, working both individually and in pairs/groups to create new work and inform broader discussions about photographic techniques and ideas.
Exercises will be based around the following themes:
Exposure basics
Portraiture
Landscapes/Forest
Still Life
Creating a sequence of images
Exploring photobooks
Images & Audio
Ideas for Personal Projects
If there are particular themes or areas that you are especially interested in covering, please let me know and I’ll see if they can be incorporated.
You will be required to bring your own camera, whether that’s a DSLR, mirrorless or your phone. Preferably you would have a camera that has the potential for full manual controls.
Workshops are designed to be suitable for all levels and abilities. Through the weekly sessions I will be able to offer bespoke advice and support for each photographer dependent on individual needs.
At the end of the 6 week course you will have created a new portfolio of images, covering a breadth of themes and techniques. It is also the intention to equip you with ideas of how to continue exploring your photography in your own time.
The course will run over 6 weeks, and will take place between 10:30am - 1:30pm beginning on 24th February at spudWORKS, Station Rd, Sway, Lymington SO41 6BA
This course is intended for adults and has a maximum capacity of 10.
